*folding cosmos – a story of a folded and minimum universe.
*folding cosmos is a traveling project inspired by the “One-Mat-Room”, the smallest space and the final study room of Matsuura Takeshiro, an explorer from the end of the Edo period who continued to travel all his life. It incorporates the tea ceremony as a place for once-in-a-lifetime “dialogue” with people from all over the world, and aims to share Japan’s unique culture and view of life through art with people from all over the world.

Harmonious Universe – KOSMOS
KOSMOS is an extension of the *folding cosmos project, and aims to pass on and develop Japanese traditions and techniques, and promote international exchange through diverse artistic expressions.
